a Quaker\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A dedicated Quaker<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I support the Quaker Testimonies<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and try every day to live by them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A very important one is that of Peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I try to live by that Testimony every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I try to always choose the path of love<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and nonviolence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I abhor guns and war and violence<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and would do anything to avoid war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I recognize that that is a basic tenet of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quakerism<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, I also believe that it is wrong<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to attack innocent people, or invade<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">another country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I believe it is Quakerly to defend those<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">being attacked or harmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is not Quakerly to ignore or avoid<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">conflict when it involves the misuse<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">of power and pain inflicted on others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It seems there are times when the only<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">way to stop the killing of the innocent is to<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">bring down the perpetrators of that<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are times when nonviolent resistance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">will only enable more violence and killing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have to trust the Inner Light to guide me<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to the path of greatest Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the testimony of Peace conflicts<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">with the testimony of integrity, after much<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">thought, I must choose to come to the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">aid of the Innocents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am a
