On a frosty morning, Nino\u2019s rosemary plant was rescued from her garden. I have been living with Nino\u2019s rosemary plants since then. I have learned a few things from her rosemary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I never realized how expressive a rosemary plant could be. I thought that a rosemary plant was stiff and pointy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the tips go up like this (arm gesture,) that is where the lights is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And if the tips go down like this (arm gesture) help, help, I need water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nino certainly shared her light, gave us a direction to follow the light and she was a drink of fresh water for our souls. At times, Nino was a bit pointy. But that was when I needed direction and Nino was always right \u2013 almost always right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grief came home for a long visit. Transposing grief into gratitude, saying thank you lifts the darkness. Light will always give direction. Grief changes with gratitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thank you, Nino for the light, direction, and nurture you gave us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
