An original song written and performed by Kay Augustine

Twenty years ago I was filling in as interim choir director at Bay View United Methodist Church and volunteered to sing “I Wonder as I Wander” at the program before the Christmas Eve service; however, two other singers had already volunteered to sing that song, so I decided to write my own. Walking in the Audubon Nature Center, “No Room” came to me. The bridge between the first two verses and the concluding one represents excluded people most on my mind when the song was recorded some ten years ago. Today I’d certainly add immigrants.
